Route Description:
This route starts from the village of Hermisende, we begin the route of the route in the square of the Church where there is a parking, we will start in the east direction, during the 2.5 km we will go by the same route as the one of the Meadows and Chestnut trees, the Last 2 km we will also do this route. The route begins in Hermisende, it starts at the beginning by road, then a great part by traditional road of earth and stones that presents / displays some that another undermining by the climatology, although the ground is quite compact in the majority of the places, in times of Rain and thaw we can find areas of mud and water, we will pass through some zone of mount low. A part of the route runs parallel first to the Small river and at the end to the river Tuela. We will cross several firewalls along the route. At 4.9 km from the beginning of this route and once crowned the Alto de Val de Carballo we reached the border with Portugal, here we enter a firewall that goes just over the same political boundary between Spain and Portugal we will begin to see the different Marras That indicates to us this border, by this firefight we have to go during 6 km until the stop of Catrapeiro, after this high descending a little we will take a road or track that we lower parallels to the river Tuela, is the zone of the old lime kilns , Here we will descend until the union of the Small river with the river Tuela. Then we will continue parallel to the river Tuela, to climb to find the route of the Prados and Castaños, in this area we can see a series of chestnuts centenaries of the largest in the province of Zamora, we will return to Hermisende by a stretch of road .

Observations:
The traditional way of the Town Hall of Hermisende, can be done at any time of the year looking for the charm of each season, it is an access road to farms, lowland and recently built dirt tracks, can be done on foot, by bicycle, horse And all terrain (for motor vehicles consult the environmental regulations of the area). In this habitat we will be able to see animals such as roe deer, wild boar and eagles among others, in summer is a route little fresh, since it runs in the majority of the sites by open zones of mount low and fireplaces with hardly any trees. This valley is dedicated mainly to the cattle ranch reason why the landscape is of low vegetation with little grove.
It is addressed to everyone who is very well prepared physically for the amount of kilometers that this route has. The route is simple but long, suitable for children taking precautions somewhere.
