At the beginning, in the middle and at the end of the route we will pass through oak forests with a few birch trees, where we can find some willow trees, as well as holly and chestnut trees. We also find wonderful fountains especially in the different towns. As we ascend to the different mountain ranges we will see incredible panoramas of the different populations, valleys and mountain ranges of the area. Usually and along the top of these mountain ranges we will find large extensions of shrubs, carballos, heather and brooms.Along the route and depending on the time of year we will also see the innumerable lagoons that have these mountain ranges and the dam of Porto Bridge. These gaps are in the first 34 km of the route. Along this stretch of mountain range, there are other lagoons, to reach them we would have to abandon our route. It is one of the best routes to see the traces of the glaciations, which are visible in the rugged terrain of this route. We left Porto in the southwest direction. We will go through the ZA-102 and the GR-84 a short section, but we leave them to catch the track that goes up to Cruz da Costa, Campo and Peñas Blancas. We found three wonderful fountains and a fantastic panoramic view before reaching the Porto Bridge dam. Then the dams of Playa, Cárdena, Garandones, to then descend to the Vega de Tera dam or broken dam, which broke on January 9, 1959, also known as the Ribadelago catastrophe. Soon after we have the dam Vega de Conde. Along the route and depending on the time of year we will also see the innumerable lagoons that this mountain has. These gaps are found along the route between the different prey. View File

Profile 100 Ruta de los Pueblos
Circular route full of beautiful winding paths between thick oak groves. The passage through the villages is brief and in them we can supply water or have a snack. In each station it may seem a different route but even in summer we can do it without many problems since most of the areas are ambushed and hardly touch the sun, even in central hours. The delight will be continuous, although most of the climbs are tended except in some exception, to make this route we must know how to dose because it will not give us truce in the form of ramps, areas a bit technical, stony, muddy that will surely force us to set foot on the ground more than once. The views of the Natural Park that in some clearings we will find will make the physical effort more bearable. In the early hours it is very likely to meet wild animals, especially deer.  View File
