Circular route, physically demanding, in which we can enjoy the ascent of the Tera river, approaching its shore repeatedly. The Tera is a trout river and that means very clean and transparent waters and paths according to the season full of flowers or in winter time with ice formations of great beauty. A few kilometers away we will leave the river sidewalk to go to the Sanabresa gorge that the large flocks of sheep use to spend the summer in the mountains. We alternate stretched climbs and shortly descend towards Truchas River, a river that gives life to the Sotillo Waterfalls, considered one of the most beautiful excursions for hikers. From here the area is flatter, not flat, and open that will lead us back to Puebla de Sanabria.

We leave Puebla de Sanabria to continue for several kilometers along the road to Santiago Sanabrés. Almost parallel to the Castro River we headed, without difficulties, towards the second mountain range, perhaps the most beautiful and leafy in Sanabria. With very thick forests that behind each bush, tree or rocks, some imposing, will make the trip endless pleasant surprises in the form of almost intact and wild nature. Every little kilometer we will enter the villages with streets formed by rows of houses, numerous balconies and stone stairs that make up a very clear influence of Galician architecture. The passage through a beautiful bridge over the stream of the Mondera will make more than one want to take that beautiful place in a camera forever.
